Mysore Dasara 2011 Special Trains from 5th October
Read this article to get details about Mysore Dasara 2011 special trains. Considering the rush situation on Mysore Dasara 2011, the Southern Railways has decided to start special train service from 5th October 2011. Along with this Southern Railways aso have the plan to start special counters and health care centresetc. The special train services will only be applicable for routes like Mysore-Bangalore, Mysore -Arasikkara, Mysore- Chamarajnagar etc. The special train service is scheduled from 5th October to 9th October 2011. The service will be available on morning, evening and on night. Those passenger trains (local trains) which do not run on Wednesdays will extend its service on 2nd and 9th October. The railway annouced extra coaches to the Mysore-Bangalore passenger.
On usual days almost 25,000 travelers reaches Mysore railway station and during Dasara season the number increases over 50,000. And for that there will be 8 counters opened this season and 3 of them will function during night.
